Welcome at the homepage for Skovbogaard. EU Stallionstation for Icelandic horses. We offer every aspect in breeding Icelandic horses including a full service EU Stallionstation with World class stallions.
We have topstallions at the farm - read more under stallions - and breed approx. 6 foals every year out from our own 1. class breeding mares. We export to all over the world.

Skovbogaard stallion station is a topmordern insemination station with a wide range of facilities for stallions and mare owners.
In autumn 2009, our goal is to have a functioning approved EU insemination station with export of semen to the whole world. We also have the option to receive semen from stallions in other countries and inseminate mares at Skovbogaard. All collection, laboratory testing, insemination and freezing occurs in association with the best in the industry, Bo Sejersbøl, Stud Laser, has more than 25 years experience in the breeding of horses and has one of the best results for artificial insemination whether it's cooled or frozen semen.


We have teamed up with local veterinarians specializing in horses. Of stallions material we have chosen to work with the best in the industry, this guarantee you access to the world stars like Keilir fra Midsitju Hnokki from Fellskoti and the VM stallion Jarl fra Midkrika

We know all the problems with breeding stallions which is also extremely active competition horse, a problem which every year leaves mare owners in frustration.
With our new initiatives we can ensure a much better handling and service for mareowners.
